Turn your wireless network into a mesh system using the Netgear EAX20 AX1800 Dual-Band Wireless Mesh Extender. The EAX20 is designed to work with existing 802.11ax Wi-Fi routers to extend wireless coverage, transferring data at up to 1800 Mb/s over the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz frequencies. Upgrading from a traditional network to a mesh system creates a seamless, unified network that uses the same Wi-Fi network name (SSID) as you move from room to room throughout your home. Equipped with two powerful internal antennas, the EAX20 uses MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies to communicate with up to four devices simultaneously, helping to ensure reliable and fast connections for streaming 4K videos, playing online games, and more. Four Gigabit Ethernet ports are available for connecting wired devices such as computers, video game consoles, smart TVs, and more.

The netgear extender is easy to setup. The range makes our router much better we have whole house coverage with no slow downs. Even outside cameras can communicate through this extender. This allows additional cameras on corners of the house that were difficult prior to the installation.

The extender has not actually extended my range. I unplugged it bc I was getting dropped from my office with is at the most, 50′ from my house. After I unplugged it, the service was about the same. I called into the customer service and the cust serv rep was much help except to say it was working.

I needed a device to connect my NVR for my security camera system and give a better WiFi connection down stories without running wires. The Netgear EAX20 was extremely easy to connect using the Netgear app to my nighthawk router it only took 5-10 minutes and a few clicks. Once connected I moved it down stairs and plugged it into my NVR and I have had an excellent connection ever since no issues at all streaming 8 4k cameras on it and it greatly improved the quality and coverage of my WiFi
