Turn your wireless network into a mesh system using the Netgear EAX20 AX1800 Dual-Band Wireless Mesh Extender. The EAX20 is designed to work with existing 802.11ax Wi-Fi routers to extend wireless coverage, transferring data at up to 1800 Mb/s over the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz frequencies. Upgrading from a traditional network to a mesh system creates a seamless, unified network that uses the same Wi-Fi network name (SSID) as you move from room to room throughout your home. Equipped with two powerful internal antennas, the EAX20 uses MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies to communicate with up to four devices simultaneously, helping to ensure reliable and fast connections for streaming 4K videos, playing online games, and more. Four Gigabit Ethernet ports are available for connecting wired devices such as computers, video game consoles, smart TVs, and more.

We upgraded our internet service and needed a router to keep up. We are supposed to be getting 400Mbps but old router only getting up to 120Mbps on iPhone 12 when standing right next to the router! We purchased the Nighthawk RAX120 and can easily get in the 350-380Mbps range. Plus, we added this Netgear/Nighthawk EAX20 extender and with that we can get up to 60Mbps way out beyond the yard into the far side of our detached garage (through brick walls). Setting up and integrating the EAX20 was super simple and fast with the Nighthawk app. Good value overall for this system.

After several tries doing the product setup to connect it to my network, the product finally worked. At several points during the setup process, the product would stop advancing thru the menu or error out. After resetting and restarting the process several times, it finally made it through the setup menu and seems to be working.
