Turn your wireless network into a mesh system using the Netgear EAX20 AX1800 Dual-Band Wireless Mesh Extender. The EAX20 is designed to work with existing 802.11ax Wi-Fi routers to extend wireless coverage, transferring data at up to 1800 Mb/s over the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz frequencies. Upgrading from a traditional network to a mesh system creates a seamless, unified network that uses the same Wi-Fi network name (SSID) as you move from room to room throughout your home. Equipped with two powerful internal antennas, the EAX20 uses MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies to communicate with up to four devices simultaneously, helping to ensure reliable and fast connections for streaming 4K videos, playing online games, and more. Four Gigabit Ethernet ports are available for connecting wired devices such as computers, video game consoles, smart TVs, and more.

I now have consistent service across my home. When I’m walking from room I don’t have to worry about changing wifi connections, works great! The only downside is that sometimes when I’m on videochats connection cuts in and out when I’m moving. Other than that great product!

After 6 months and asking many questions, my netgear extender was the answer. Finally my back door ring doorbell was going to work. It may not seem like much, however, when you’re hearing impaired it’s everything. It’s a safty feature as well as my husband was leaving the garage door open for me to hear guests; people could come in, but that meant anyone could come, even uninvited guests, I love my ring door bell and highly recommend it and make sure you get an extender if you neem it to avoid the frustration I experienced. reat5 Product!

Pretty good so far. Has extended the range as I wanted however I wish it pushed the range out a little further. Setup was easy until I noticed I made a mistake in changing the admin password questions and then I had to spend ages trying to get back and sort it out.

Do not let the size or price of this keep you from getting perfect wi-fi through out your home. Plan out wear it needs to go the higher the better . You get what you pay for , and it’s worth every penny . So easy to set up with the app
