Turn your wireless network into a mesh system using the Netgear EAX20 AX1800 Dual-Band Wireless Mesh Extender. The EAX20 is designed to work with existing 802.11ax Wi-Fi routers to extend wireless coverage, transferring data at up to 1800 Mb/s over the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz frequencies. Upgrading from a traditional network to a mesh system creates a seamless, unified network that uses the same Wi-Fi network name (SSID) as you move from room to room throughout your home. Equipped with two powerful internal antennas, the EAX20 uses MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies to communicate with up to four devices simultaneously, helping to ensure reliable and fast connections for streaming 4K videos, playing online games, and more. Four Gigabit Ethernet ports are available for connecting wired devices such as computers, video game consoles, smart TVs, and more.

I find Netgear to be the best routers/extenders on the market. This particular extender is perfect. Very easy to set up with the nighthawk app and meshes well with the router. All my devices connect well wirelessly and the four data plugs are a great option instead of just one. It also has a great wireless range, so you can stay connected from great distances. I would not replace this product with no other brand name.

Upgraded to new, faster format. This Mesh was very easy to set up. Clear instructions and up and running in 10 minutes. I noticed faster transfer speeds from my old Netgear extender. My house is 3000 sq ft and there is a little corner of the house that still does not get a great signal, however, I just used my old Netgear for that one small area. The Mesh device seems to expand the signal somehow. Works well and has been stable in the week I have been using it. Larget than some extenders but slim and fits behind my TV. Love that it has 4 ports so I can plug an upstairs wireless TV directly into it. Far more stable now reception now.

Very Nice improvement in my house, my X6s died, and I got this to replace it. The improvement in coverage was very nice. I do wish it had an Advanced menu, It would have made the switch to access point much easier.

This extender connected fairly seamlessly with my WiFi 6 network (even though that network hardware is manufactured by a different brand) and seems to be working very well. Setup took a bit long, and the app doesn’t seem to let you utilize all the functionality that connecting over a web browser does, but other than that, highly recommended!

Easy to set up. Only issue I have is that you cannot put parental controls on certain devices that are on the extender. Figured out to just simply use the parental controls on main router to turn off extender at certain times. Otherwise great extra WiFi strength through our house with many devices.
