Turn your wireless network into a mesh system using the Netgear EAX20 AX1800 Dual-Band Wireless Mesh Extender. The EAX20 is designed to work with existing 802.11ax Wi-Fi routers to extend wireless coverage, transferring data at up to 1800 Mb/s over the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz frequencies. Upgrading from a traditional network to a mesh system creates a seamless, unified network that uses the same Wi-Fi network name (SSID) as you move from room to room throughout your home. Equipped with two powerful internal antennas, the EAX20 uses MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies to communicate with up to four devices simultaneously, helping to ensure reliable and fast connections for streaming 4K videos, playing online games, and more. Four Gigabit Ethernet ports are available for connecting wired devices such as computers, video game consoles, smart TVs, and more.

All of the deadspots in my apartment are being reached! Best purchase I have made in a while
Travis Howell (verified owner) –
It extends outwards at least 150 feet that we know of.
Oleta Kris (verified owner) –
So easy to set up took maybe 10 minutes. My desktop computer internet is so fast now.
Rubye Wintheiser (verified owner) –
Worked fine. The Nigthawk program could use better instructions and error handling though. Set up a three node system using two extenders with Starlink as the primary node.

Our home wireless set up was breaking under the strain of work and school from home. We did our research and the Netgear wifi 6 (newest, fastest standard for wifi) mesh range extender looks ideal for current and future needs. My teen set it up in minutes and we are happily? Participating in uninterrupted meetings and virtual class since then!

More complicated than othersIt was more complicated to set up then my other two Netgear range extenders

Ended up returning this and getting the EAX80 instead because there was were still a few dead spots in my house. (I live in a 2 story house were some walls seem to block signal more than others). It was kinda hard to set it up but once I got it done, worked pretty well.

I tried this system with my Netgear AX8 WiFi 6 for the basement where the regular router barely reaches. My connection speed between my phone and the Extender is between 400 Mbps and 600 Mbps. Works as expected.
Abigail Harvey (verified owner) –
Fast, reliable, and easy to set up along with easy usage.
Keara Reichert (verified owner) –
The mesh extender solved my wifi coverage in my home which is a very long ranch-style house.

Maritza Gutkowski (verified owner) –
It works great a littleconfusing at at first with the way the app works but other than that an all around great extender
Payton Treutel (verified owner) –
So far, it works as expected, which is better than the previous range extender.

We have tried several range e tenders that would reach the far corners of our 1950 DQ ft home. The Netgear Wifi 6 Mesh Ctender (EAX20) was easy to install and set up. I was expecting to have to reprogram all of my wireless devices to the new extender name, but is did exactly as it was supposed to. It just extended my existing Modem, so I didn’t have to rename and reset up all of my devices. I am amazed at this product and will recommend it to everyone.
Chase Trantow (verified owner) –
A little tricky to set up. I opted to use ethernet instead of wifi to feed the extender. My main router only 2.5 gig. N Protocol. Gave me 2.5 and 5 ghz outputs and greater speeds on devices that used 5 ghz and higher 2 5 speeds further away in small house.

This device does really help to extend WiFi, performance does however depend on the quality of the original internet service. But, overall I am happy with the results.
