Turn your wireless network into a mesh system using the Netgear EAX20 AX1800 Dual-Band Wireless Mesh Extender. The EAX20 is designed to work with existing 802.11ax Wi-Fi routers to extend wireless coverage, transferring data at up to 1800 Mb/s over the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz frequencies. Upgrading from a traditional network to a mesh system creates a seamless, unified network that uses the same Wi-Fi network name (SSID) as you move from room to room throughout your home. Equipped with two powerful internal antennas, the EAX20 uses MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies to communicate with up to four devices simultaneously, helping to ensure reliable and fast connections for streaming 4K videos, playing online games, and more. Four Gigabit Ethernet ports are available for connecting wired devices such as computers, video game consoles, smart TVs, and more.

Extender does what it’s suppose to do as advertised. However, product does glitch and is sometimes unstable with network connections.

Setup was a breeze and now we have super fast WiFi throughout our entire house and extending out to our outside fire pit. Highly recommend

Right out of the box, this extender worked as advertised, and it literally set itself up while I followed the easy instructions. Netgear performs the way we all hope our computer-related equipment should work, but rarely does. I was so pleasantly surprised, and it solved my wi-fi coverage issues. What’s not to love?

Does everything advertised with little to no faults or complications

The wife and I run our businesses early in the morning. Later on in the day 3 children use devices for their school work. On our gaming days we run WiFi tv and tablets. The speed has not slowed down or cut off at all now with the Mesh.

This unit has really helped our wifi throughout the house and on our rooftop deck. Had to do a little trouble shooting on the set up, my lack of knowledge and incorrect information ( it said wait for the green light- there isn’t a green light to wait for) however, all in all awesome!

This WiFi extender cost quite a bit more than the others. The app setup is what prompted me to choose it. I was very pleased that I did. My WiFi signal is Excellent, it extends both my 2.4 and 5.0 channels with exceptional strength and took only 5 minutes to set up. Very pleased.

Bought this mesh extender in hopes to get service in my barn 150 foot from my router, and working perfectly and the install was so simple. I definitely recommend this product!!!!!

This extender helped me establish reliable connections with wireless devices in areas of the house where wi-fi was weak. I knocked off a star for the skimpy instructions.

has not helped much…yet, I have the internet provider coming out to make sure all of their equipment is working correctly.

Very easy to configurate and much better than a router repeater, because extend both 2.4

Netgear Wi-Fi mesh range extender. This is an excellent product. Very easy to set up and it worked right out of the box. Lots of options to choose from based on your personal need and configuration.

I have a dead spot in my home. I have setup my device in that area and it works great.
Savion Dibbert (verified owner) –
Good extender and decent application – I wish I could change channels to improve performance but other than that it works perfectly.

The original wi-fi router is located in a basement office. The signal was not sufficient at the far end of the house. Adding the EAX20 has improved reception throughout the house and around the yard. Installation requires an app downloadable only to a smart phone. Once installed, the setup was automatic and completed within 10 minutes. Yes, the box is rather large and the status lights are bright.

I purchased 2 NETGEAR WI-FI extenders and was surprised at how easy it was to connect them and how great the strength and speed of the WI-FI. My previous extenders were no where near as strong and speeds were slow and often would disconnect daily. Setting up the network was super easy with the app and I really like the ease of checking internet speeds and downloads. I feel that I have a system that’s ready now and for the future of internet progression.

Amazing speeds right out the box! I was using it as a wifi extender first and it did superb. One day I decided to connect it to my internet through RJ45 (Ethernet) so I bought a media converter because my home uses fiber optics internet… Oh my goodness, out of this world speeds up to 600mbps. You should get it.

We need this extender to help provide coverage throughout our house and we’re hoping it would provide external coverage as well- it has surpassed our expectations!

Reading the instructions twice, I still ended up creating a mess that was not what I wanted. Support was great, and even though I got cut off, they emailed back and gave me some clues. After resetting to factory default and going a lot more slowly through the steps, I now have a dual band access point that works exactly as I had originally expected. Plus the range on the 5 GHz band is my full house and it is the only device in that band. The Ethernet ports are a seamless switch for my wired devices as well.
