Turn your wireless network into a mesh system using the Netgear EAX20 AX1800 Dual-Band Wireless Mesh Extender. The EAX20 is designed to work with existing 802.11ax Wi-Fi routers to extend wireless coverage, transferring data at up to 1800 Mb/s over the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz frequencies. Upgrading from a traditional network to a mesh system creates a seamless, unified network that uses the same Wi-Fi network name (SSID) as you move from room to room throughout your home. Equipped with two powerful internal antennas, the EAX20 uses MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies to communicate with up to four devices simultaneously, helping to ensure reliable and fast connections for streaming 4K videos, playing online games, and more. Four Gigabit Ethernet ports are available for connecting wired devices such as computers, video game consoles, smart TVs, and more.

So this one was easy to set up. It took me about 10 mins or so. I like how it worked with the network instead of having it on its separate network you have to connect to, like those smaller square ones you plug into a wall socket (would show up as network xxxx EXT). The box said a “mesh” WiFi network extender. So the description fits. A tad on the high side, but worth it in my opinion.

I had used several other extenders, they functioned, but were difficult to setup. This EAX20 was so smooth, quick and easy. Less than 15 nutes andit was in place permanently and doing the job. It is still functioning without further re-connection issues and greatly improved the streaming services, like Zoom and Webex meetings, Good fair price for the extender, too.
