Turn your wireless network into a mesh system using the Netgear EAX20 AX1800 Dual-Band Wireless Mesh Extender. The EAX20 is designed to work with existing 802.11ax Wi-Fi routers to extend wireless coverage, transferring data at up to 1800 Mb/s over the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz frequencies. Upgrading from a traditional network to a mesh system creates a seamless, unified network that uses the same Wi-Fi network name (SSID) as you move from room to room throughout your home. Equipped with two powerful internal antennas, the EAX20 uses MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies to communicate with up to four devices simultaneously, helping to ensure reliable and fast connections for streaming 4K videos, playing online games, and more. Four Gigabit Ethernet ports are available for connecting wired devices such as computers, video game consoles, smart TVs, and more.

Smoove easy installation fixed my deadzone issue, easy maintenance through nighthawk app.

I have a larger home so I used netgear with my existing network to help with my wireless security cameras. My security cameras had a weak signal and would lose footage of people on my property. Now all of my wireless cameras have a very strong signal thanks to this extender I can see all perimeters of my house continuously. Highly recommended!

Bought this device with the hopes that it would eliminate the need to crawl thru my attic dragging CAT5 wires and installing a remote access point. I have a 2000 sq ft home with an office on one end and remote internet-TV and WiFi cameras on the other. I put the WiFi 6 mesh extender in the middle and it integrated into the system seamlessly. You do NOT log on to a separate network as with some devices… it works to extend several sessions from the original router wirelessly and uses the same credentials as if we were logging onto the office router. Best computer gear purchase that I have made in a long time. Would highly recommend this device.

Both of the devices work well together. The Wi-Fi Extender works really well with the router. I’m extremely pleased with my new set up.

Setup was easy and worked as expected. Now i get more range for my devices. Basically two bars to now full bars. Speed test shows excellent speed. Same as main router on wireless.

After minor issues with setup, it satisfies all my expectations.

Set up with assistance was a breeze. Signal throughout the house is very good. I would recommend this device and it’s reasonably priced.

This device kept us from replacing our old WIFI and causing us to pay more for its usage.

I had this hooked up to my living room gear, then moved it once I upgraded my main router. It’s okay in it’s new location if items are hard wired into it, but the software made set up so much more difficult when I tried to change things as per the Nighthawk app. I finally got it to communicate using the hard reset and Ethernet cable plugged in next to the router (moving it afterwards). I tried calling support, but got nothing. It’ll do as is.

I recently moved into a new home that didn’t allow me to have my desktop next to my modem and router. I went down rabbit holes of finding the best wifi extender and initially bought one of those plug in TP Link ones. What I didn’t realize was that those types actually limit the speed that they receive even though they have ethernet connections. More research led me to this NETGEAR Range Extender. Set up was super easy and download speeds increased from 90-100mbps to 290-300 mbps instantly. I would not hesitate on purchasing this extender and wished that I had started with this one first instead of those other cheaper options.

Netgear Extender resolved WiFi signal strength in large sanctuary space!

I ordered this since our main router is in our garage and we have a two story house. Now I can get wifi upstairs and halfway back our huge backyard. Setup was super easy too.

So since I have had the Netgear Wi-Fi mesh extender, my Internet is connecting faster. Admittedly I do not have the fastest Internet but things are smoother with less hiccups .Before I was having problems every day to every other day.
Turner Halvorson (verified owner) –
This range extender greatly increased my WiFi. I’m now able to be on the internet outside and my Ring camera works much better. Setup was extremely easy.
Eliseo Jacobs (verified owner) –
At this early stage great! Video chats are staying connected and games playing without issue. I do like the ability to see what devices are connected. Would recommend.
Lukas Schroeder (verified owner) –
Purchased the extender and downloaded the configuration ap. Setup and performance were a snap. I highly recommend this product.

My router is in the basement therefore I need an extender on the 2nd floor. This extender was easy to install and works well. Have only had for 1 month but so far so good….

I did 2 days worth of research to find the best range extender for my shop. The shop is roughly about 340′ from my house, I didn’t expect any extender to reach. To my surprise it connected to my 40″ onn roku smart tv and only buffered 2 time. My only complaint is the install was not the easiest. I had to forget my network on my router and then reconnect to get them to connect to each other, which wouldn’t have been bad if it had not taken me 2 hours to figure out. I have a 50″ ethernet cable that has to stay connected from the router to the extender to keep the internet connected to the shop, but definitely worth it!!!
