Turn your wireless network into a mesh system using the Netgear EAX20 AX1800 Dual-Band Wireless Mesh Extender. The EAX20 is designed to work with existing 802.11ax Wi-Fi routers to extend wireless coverage, transferring data at up to 1800 Mb/s over the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz frequencies. Upgrading from a traditional network to a mesh system creates a seamless, unified network that uses the same Wi-Fi network name (SSID) as you move from room to room throughout your home. Equipped with two powerful internal antennas, the EAX20 uses MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies to communicate with up to four devices simultaneously, helping to ensure reliable and fast connections for streaming 4K videos, playing online games, and more. Four Gigabit Ethernet ports are available for connecting wired devices such as computers, video game consoles, smart TVs, and more.

I tried to figure it out and their tech support was useless. They claim it cant be used in a bridge mode like setup, but thats what its advertised for. Very frustrating. ve been setting up network devices for 30 years. This is about as hard as it was 30 years ago! There are no actual instructions how to do this. It just sets up in extender mode which is not what i want.

The extender was bought for a high traffic office space. It’s works well, but does have bouts where it stuggles to handle all of the internet traffic in our office. Overall, I would highly recommend for spaces with only a few people in it.

This extender works on all of my devices except for my apple tv streaming box. Every time my apple tv is connected, anything I stream (HBOmax, Hulu, YouTube, etc.) buffers and lags. Other than that, it’s easy to use and install. The app is also straightforward.
