Turn your wireless network into a mesh system using the Netgear EAX20 AX1800 Dual-Band Wireless Mesh Extender. The EAX20 is designed to work with existing 802.11ax Wi-Fi routers to extend wireless coverage, transferring data at up to 1800 Mb/s over the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz frequencies. Upgrading from a traditional network to a mesh system creates a seamless, unified network that uses the same Wi-Fi network name (SSID) as you move from room to room throughout your home. Equipped with two powerful internal antennas, the EAX20 uses MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies to communicate with up to four devices simultaneously, helping to ensure reliable and fast connections for streaming 4K videos, playing online games, and more. Four Gigabit Ethernet ports are available for connecting wired devices such as computers, video game consoles, smart TVs, and more.

I purchased the NETGEAR WIFI 6 range extender as the reception on my outdoor porch and pool was extremely poor (drop connections etc) . One I installed the extender the reception was up to speed. I would recommend this purchase.

The phone app made installation quick and easy. It was working in minutes and increased signal speed dramatically. I am very satisfied.

This extender works with your existing router and very easy to install. It fixed my spotty areas I am now getting fast wi fi connection.

I love it! Was going to go with an entire new mesh system being fed up with my router dropping devices all the time. Instead I looked into an extender and ended up with this one due to the reviews and my research. This thing is not not good for wifi6, but it’s also works with my older wifi5 devices. We now have super strong WiFi signal throughout my entire house with no dead spots or dropping devices. I would definitely recommended this device. My house is two story with about 2500 square ft. Total. We also have wireless cameras outside the house that have great signal as well

I had a 150 ft Ethernet cable connecting my pc to my router. Was having some issues with speed and lagging hard. After some troubleshooting, I decided to try an extender with a much shorter Ethernet cable to connect my PC to. Not only did it work very well, but it increased the speed of my pc by 30-40 MBPS according to a third party speed test I was using. I love this extender, and it comes very highly recommended for anyone in the market for this type of device.

I’ve only had this unit for a couple of weeks. The setup was easy using the app. I like the fact that I can use the same wifi password through out the house. You seamlessly switch over to the extender with out knowing. I highly recommend this mesh extender.

The unit works well when it works. But it appears to not always mesh well with smart devices. Such as my best thermostat. The thermostat will sometimes drop wifi and force me to unplug the extender then reconnect the thermostat to the wifi then reconnect the extender. Just beware.

We were having issues with coverage around the house and garage. Got this extended and it’s really helped with having max coverage and strength of signal. Definitely recommended

I had several locations in our house with little to no WiFi coverage. I saw this option, easy to install with the App, and was up and running with great coverage through out the house.

I had very poor wifi connection on the second floor of my apartment with the Verizon G3100 router. Connected the EAX20 extender to the existing wifi using the simple steps in the app and now have excellent wifi connection in the full apartment.

Excellent product, especially when plugged in with Ethernet, I was getting about 50-80 download, 10-20 upload on my PlayStation, this jumped it to 200 and 100, works great for what I need it for. Perfect

The unit is nice and fairly easy to set up but the coverage it not as good as I wanted it to be. I have a 2500 sq foot home and some of my equipment can’t connect to my internet.

We were having issues with the signal strength in the back office. This extender worked with our existing wifi and brought the wireless signal from 12mbps to 220mbps. It also provided a couple of much needed Ethernet ports in a room far away from the modem and router. The only gripe I have is with the Nighthawk app. It’s a bit clunky and took a few tries / resets to get things fully set up.

I’m using this extender as an access point, and the speeds are incredible. My ISP tops my speed at 600Mbps. Wirelessly through the extender I’m hitting 684Mbps. Through Ethernet on a Windows 7 laptop, I get just under 578 Mbps. I can easily view 4K video on my DirecTV unit. I installed through my computer, but I’d recommend using the app. I had no issues, but unless I go through setup again, the app can’t find the Extender. That is my only complaint. I highly recommend this unit.

Just moved into a new house – a LONG house. Installed one extender in my office – it picked up signal wrapping around brick chimney with powerful force. I did not have to wire. Put another at other end of house – my wife can work remotely again without worrying about where she is in the house! A fantastic network!

This mesh extender was exactly the answer to my problem of needing really fast internet in my garage, which was a dead spot. Now I have around 750 mbps, just like when I’m next to my Xfinity router! And the best part is that I don’t have to select a different WiFi like I would with a plug-in signal “booster,” which has never worked for me anyway. Hate those things. Great mesh extender, great price, would buy again!!!

My wife works from home and has her office upstairs. This product really increased the signal strength of our WiFi and also enabled her to hard wire her desk phone into the range extender. I’ll be adding another one of these to my basement once it’s finished! Very pleased!
