Turn your wireless network into a mesh system using the Netgear EAX20 AX1800 Dual-Band Wireless Mesh Extender. The EAX20 is designed to work with existing 802.11ax Wi-Fi routers to extend wireless coverage, transferring data at up to 1800 Mb/s over the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz frequencies. Upgrading from a traditional network to a mesh system creates a seamless, unified network that uses the same Wi-Fi network name (SSID) as you move from room to room throughout your home. Equipped with two powerful internal antennas, the EAX20 uses MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies to communicate with up to four devices simultaneously, helping to ensure reliable and fast connections for streaming 4K videos, playing online games, and more. Four Gigabit Ethernet ports are available for connecting wired devices such as computers, video game consoles, smart TVs, and more.

I bought the NETGEAR WiFi 6 range extender because my SAMSUNG technical support expert said that my new 55 in. TV was having memory buffering problems because my WiFi was to far away from my tv location. The extender solved my problems. Not only that, I had trouble using my WiFi in the garage with my IPAD, but not any longer.

I did not expect that an extender for my existing wifi network would work properly, and I did not want to have two separate networks in the house. Our place is not large, but we have one room, fairly far from the router, where streaming worked poorly. Trying to use speedtest.net in that room would often result in failure to connect to the server. The Netgear EAX20 has solved the problems. It is located in a nearby room with better reception, and now I can stream well in the room where I used to have problems. I greatly appreciate that B&H allows you to download the product manual from their website. This gave me the opportunity to see what would be involved in the installation before I made the purchase. (The EAX20 is compatible with the type of password used by my Verizon router.) Interestingly, the product box does not include the manual or even give the purchaser a link to download the manual. I bumped the rating down a star for that. But my thanks to B&H for giving us access to the manual before making the purchase.

It works fine, I live in a 2-story house with dead internet spots. So this device gives all of us living in the house, full internet coverage. Setting it up was a pain in the butt though..

Bought this for a dead spot at one end of the house. It boosts the signal significantly. My son doesn’t complain about low internet speed any more, and when I host Zoom meetings in that part of the house, I never run into latency issues. I’m goIng to try the Ethernet connection from the extender to see if it makes things even stronger.
