Turn your wireless network into a mesh system using the Netgear EAX20 AX1800 Dual-Band Wireless Mesh Extender. The EAX20 is designed to work with existing 802.11ax Wi-Fi routers to extend wireless coverage, transferring data at up to 1800 Mb/s over the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz frequencies. Upgrading from a traditional network to a mesh system creates a seamless, unified network that uses the same Wi-Fi network name (SSID) as you move from room to room throughout your home. Equipped with two powerful internal antennas, the EAX20 uses MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies to communicate with up to four devices simultaneously, helping to ensure reliable and fast connections for streaming 4K videos, playing online games, and more. Four Gigabit Ethernet ports are available for connecting wired devices such as computers, video game consoles, smart TVs, and more.

I purchased two extenders to place in two different areas of the home, one set up and worked perfectly fine the other did not. Every time it was disconnected from the power to be moved to another location the entire set up would have to be performed again, but only after getting the unit to do a factory reset which took multiple tries over quite a period of time… Not easy and not great quality in my opinion. I returned the one which would not work properly and decided to wait before replacing it. So far the one that did set up correctly is working well. Time will tell, but 50-50 on brand new product is not that great.

Works great after setting it up correctly. Had to call in to get it right. I thought it would be a pain but it wasn’t bad at all it took about 30min and i have wifi 20 feet outside my walls for my Security system.

I had a range extender that plugged into the wall and it did really good for a little over a year now and it finally went out and this time I wanted to make sure and get one that plugged in with a cord to it could be moved around easier and I went from sometimes having buffering on my TV alone with the old extender to run in my two TVs cell phone Apple Watch smart clock and smart lights all with absolutely no like just seamlessly no buffering no hesitation
