Turn your wireless network into a mesh system using the Netgear EAX20 AX1800 Dual-Band Wireless Mesh Extender. The EAX20 is designed to work with existing 802.11ax Wi-Fi routers to extend wireless coverage, transferring data at up to 1800 Mb/s over the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz frequencies. Upgrading from a traditional network to a mesh system creates a seamless, unified network that uses the same Wi-Fi network name (SSID) as you move from room to room throughout your home. Equipped with two powerful internal antennas, the EAX20 uses MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies to communicate with up to four devices simultaneously, helping to ensure reliable and fast connections for streaming 4K videos, playing online games, and more. Four Gigabit Ethernet ports are available for connecting wired devices such as computers, video game consoles, smart TVs, and more.

We were having issues with Zoom calls in the far back corner of the house. Since purchase and install, no issues. Much more of an industrial solution than the little gizmos you plug into the wall. Setup was very simple. We usually have 8 devices running concurrently with no issues. Was backwards compatible with our Nighthawk router.

A little tricky to set up. I opted to use ethernet instead of wifi to feed the extender. My main router only 2.5 gig. N Protocol. Gave me 2.5 and 5 ghz outputs and greater speeds on devices that used 5 ghz and higher 2 5 speeds further away in small house.

I have a 2 acre rural property with several outbuildings. I needed WiFi in the garage, barn, and pump house which were 100 ft beyond the house. The EAX20 Extender provides a strong WiFi signal to all the areas where I need it. 5 star performance but struggled a bit to get a secure connection. Easy Install App provided an OPEN connection and I had to download the Owner Manual help setup proper security.
