Turn your wireless network into a mesh system using the Netgear EAX20 AX1800 Dual-Band Wireless Mesh Extender. The EAX20 is designed to work with existing 802.11ax Wi-Fi routers to extend wireless coverage, transferring data at up to 1800 Mb/s over the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz frequencies. Upgrading from a traditional network to a mesh system creates a seamless, unified network that uses the same Wi-Fi network name (SSID) as you move from room to room throughout your home. Equipped with two powerful internal antennas, the EAX20 uses MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies to communicate with up to four devices simultaneously, helping to ensure reliable and fast connections for streaming 4K videos, playing online games, and more. Four Gigabit Ethernet ports are available for connecting wired devices such as computers, video game consoles, smart TVs, and more.

So far this is a 5, easy setup when you already have an existing netgear router, setup through the app, takes a few mins. And bam everything is ready to go, definitely boosted wifi speed, even better connecting ethernet cable gives me what i wanted. Easy 100 mbps.

I purchased this for stronger signal in my computer and it has helped a multitude more than I expected. The cell service here isn’t great but this intensifies the wifi.

This was about the fourth mesh/range extender that I have purchased. Sent the other 3 back. The Netgear was a snap to set up with the phone app and works seamlessly!!!

Bought this a few weeks a go. Had a little trouble with connectivity but once connected, had worked very well since. I then bought a Nighthawk CXA80 and the system seems faster and connectivity better. Thanks!

Its set up and ready to go. Can further edit mesh reach within the app. Gave me 600down ethernet to extender. Game changer for anyone streaming and need a link that can reach ethernet speeds.

Using this device in access point mode to wirelessly connect to the original router to provide both multiple wired connections in a media room expand the wifi. Setup was easy using the access point mode setup and has made wifi usable throughout the entire house!

This WiFi extender has greatly increased the range of my network and has also increased the download speeds to my devices. The only negative comment I have was the installation of the extender to my router. I had to have Netgear technicians help me install and connect the extender even though I followed the written instructions. The instructions were vague at times and skipped a lot of needed steps assuming the installer already knew what and how to do. Overall, I’ll give it a 10 for performance and a 9 for installation instructions

Had a little difficulty setting up. Conflicting instructions in box vs app, but eventually got it. Increased connectivity with surveillance cameras which was the goal.
