Turn your wireless network into a mesh system using the Netgear EAX20 AX1800 Dual-Band Wireless Mesh Extender. The EAX20 is designed to work with existing 802.11ax Wi-Fi routers to extend wireless coverage, transferring data at up to 1800 Mb/s over the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz frequencies. Upgrading from a traditional network to a mesh system creates a seamless, unified network that uses the same Wi-Fi network name (SSID) as you move from room to room throughout your home. Equipped with two powerful internal antennas, the EAX20 uses MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies to communicate with up to four devices simultaneously, helping to ensure reliable and fast connections for streaming 4K videos, playing online games, and more. Four Gigabit Ethernet ports are available for connecting wired devices such as computers, video game consoles, smart TVs, and more.

It has cut down my heartburn significantly. I had some initial troubles with set up, but I was able to get the extender up and running relatively quickly and finally had internet in my room, the farthest point in the house from the router.

I like this router a lot. I never experience the delay when I move around the house. Highly recommend it.

After a rather difficult set up the unit works well. Thanks to Netgear customer service rep

I purchased this unit to extend my home WiFi signal outside to operate some new equipment. Set-up was simple. I now have full WiFi access outside to connect a “Flo by Moen” home water leak detection device on my water main. The WiFi extender maintains a consistent signal so “Flo” can protect my home!

This one lives up to it’s claims. One of the few extenders I’ve used over the years, that actually performs flawlessly.
Destin Schumm (verified owner) –
I am extremely pleased with the quality of my NETGEAR network extender. I primarily purchased to extend coverage to my garage and workshop out back. The range is amazing. Super fast speed and no lag. If you want the best this is the one to own!

I recently moved the router in my home and am getting a weak WiFi signal upstairs in my office. I set up the extender halfway between the router and my office like it says and I have yet to see a noticeable difference. I can’t tell if it’s actually working or not. Not sure if it’s boosting anything.

It should be a three because while I have a strong signal, as I hoped for, I get disconnected when moving from one floor of the house to the other.

I couild not believe the improvement this extender made in the far corners of our home. I highly recommend this product.
Gisselle Wintheiser (verified owner) –
The way my house is set up my router has to be used in a bedroom away from my living room. The walls are concrete so it’s really hard to get signal into my actual living room. I bought this extender hoping it would help, and it did. It didn’t give me as much MBPS that I was hoping, but it gave me almost half of the original so I’m very satisfied. I’d recommend this to anyone who lives in a concrete house.

Was having problems with signal strength to my new security cameras. They will only use 2.4GHz. I was able to put the EAX20 on the garage on up high, connect to the main router on 5 Ghz, and only use the needed 2.4Ghz band for the cameras, all on separate channels!

Product works as described. Able to use my WiFi everywhere on my deck. Saving me lots of money

i bought my netgear eax20 to extend my T-mobile mesh network in my house and it works great.I used my iPhone to set it up. After power up, I had to do a reset (1min) on the Netgear extender to see the netgear_ext wifi network to appear on my iPhone, select it and launch a web browser and type mywifiext.net and follow the instructions to complete the setup. Make sure you create an Admin password and have your existing wifi network password handy as you will need it. Thank you.

I have RAX200 router in the basement, i thought for a 2300 sq foot home that should be enough. But i was getting very weak signal on the first floor. I have FIOS gigabit connection, on the main Netgear router i was getting 900 mbps up/down, on my devices around 400-500 in the basement, around 200 mbps on the ground floor. But 25-30 mbps on the first floor. So i placed the EAX20 router on the ground floor, and now i am getting around 200 mbps on the first floor ( compared to 25-30 mbps without the extender ). I am happy with the performance.

NOTHING works. The app is complete junk and I can’t get anything to work. I even tried a full reset of the router. Absolute garbage.

Setup was quick and easy. This device works great.

Added Wi-Fi range to my shop which is 300 feet from the house. Easy to set up first time around. A bit more difficult to re-set up after we changed our main Wi-Fi router

Even though it’s not labeled for gaming this WiFi extender does the job perfect. I mean I went from lagging OC to nothing at all
