Turn your wireless network into a mesh system using the Netgear EAX20 AX1800 Dual-Band Wireless Mesh Extender. The EAX20 is designed to work with existing 802.11ax Wi-Fi routers to extend wireless coverage, transferring data at up to 1800 Mb/s over the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz frequencies. Upgrading from a traditional network to a mesh system creates a seamless, unified network that uses the same Wi-Fi network name (SSID) as you move from room to room throughout your home. Equipped with two powerful internal antennas, the EAX20 uses MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies to communicate with up to four devices simultaneously, helping to ensure reliable and fast connections for streaming 4K videos, playing online games, and more. Four Gigabit Ethernet ports are available for connecting wired devices such as computers, video game consoles, smart TVs, and more.

I have been trying to get internet to my out building that is about 200′ from my modem. I do not have great internet from my provider so when I hookup the NETGEAR WiFi 6 Mesh Range Extender (EAX20), I was able to get internet even being slow still able to do work. Great Job.

I have an attached garage with an apartment above the garage where a family member lives. The WiFi signal is strong in my house, but spotty in the apartment so I really needed something to boost the signal strength. Once I got it set up, this Extender has been excellent! Strong, consistent signal strength. I did struggle a bit with the setup, but I called the customer service number and they were excellent. The rep stayed on the line with me and talked me through everything. I’d definitely recommend this product if you’re struggling with weak or dead spots.

I own Netgear Nighthawk Modem CM1200, Nighthawk Cable Router AX3000 (RAX40), Nighthawk Extender AX1800 (EAX20) and 3 A6210 Wireless Adapters. The EAX20 was the most confusing to setup and install. I had to find the assigned IP Address because the other methods of finding the device did not work. While the Apple iTouch is useful to run the apps, I had to use the PC to finally talk to the Extender to do the settings. The User Guide was not very intuitive. Also the User Guide says this is an AC not AX unit in the defaults. While it now works Netgear could of done better.
