I have a very large area that needs coverage. I purchased a Nighthawk router as the main router and then purchased 2 EAX80 extenders. They were very easy to setup and I was able to fully cover a 3 story 7,000 sq. ft. house. Having the SSID on the extender the same as the main SSID was a main feature for me. I would certainly buy this product again.

Used this extender with the Nighthawk CAX80 running 1200gbps Xfinity mainly due to many nearby Wi-Fi signals in the neighborhood bringing down my signal strength. I put the extender in our barn that is located about 15 feet from our house. The EAX80 extended our range and improved our Wi-Fi reception and speed. After a few initial hiccups, the Netgear Tech team assisted me in completing my mesh network setup..this included an RAX80 router and an EAX80 mesh extender. I now have strong wifi in all areas of my 3000 sq ft 2 story home (and when we finish the basement and add another 800 sq ft/3rd level of living space we will be adding another EAX80 mesh extender to juice the wifi of that new space as well.
