Enhance your 802.11ax Wi-Fi coverage by using the Netgear EAX80 Nighthawk AX8 Wi-Fi 6 Dual-Band Wireless Range Extender to create a mesh network. The Nighthawk AX8 has four internal antennas and works with your existing router by using the same network name (SSID), allowing for seamless switching between devices as you move without having to disconnect and reconnect to the wireless network. Compatible devices can reach speeds of up to 1.2 Gb/s using the 2.4 GHz band and 4.8 Gb/s across the 5 GHz band, allowing for reliable high-speed connections for streaming 4K video, playing games, connecting smart home devices, and more throughout your home. OFDMA technology allows for optimized data transmission for up to eight devices at the same time while four-stream MU-MIMO support enables up to four 1 x 1 devices to stream content simultaneously.
For those who haven’t upgraded yet, this range extender supports previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac. Four Gigabit Ethernet ports are also available to connect wired devices such as smart televisions, computers, and video game consoles. There is also a USB 3.0 port to connect compatible storage drives and share photos, videos, documents, and other files across the network. Downloading the Nighthawk mobile app allows you to configure the Nighthawk AX8’s settings.

I was in satellite internet jail! Pings of a 1,000 or more, UGH! Then I stumbled on the solution; I teamed a stationary LTE hotspot (modem/router) with a NetGear RAX75 router with two EAX80 extenders, had to disable the hotspot router capabilities. I now get great wifi 6 internet speeds and pings of 30. Can stream anything we want for the first time.

Directions were easy to follow. No second network login needed. Extender then moved to help with outdoor reception. Worked well first time.

The upper level of my house was spotty, to say the least. The EAX80 resolved the issue. Easy to configure.

The Nighthawk range extender completely transformed my at home working experience. After two modem swaps, and internet service upgrades, the Nighthawk was the missing link to the internet speed and reliability I was searching for. Highly recommend!

First it was extremely difficult to get the extender to connect with my Netgear Router using the Nighthawk app. I had to call customer service 3’times for my extender to sync with my router also till this day according to my nighthawk app it has not been connected. But I believe it is. Just my app is probably not synced right. One day I’ll have to check it out by calling the customer service for a forth time.

It’s really great and works well so far! Had to do a bit of moving around to find the best spot but once I did, internet came in strong and clear and I got no more dead zones!

The router being used is shared by a trailer park, and the reception is very poor, so I researched a range extender and found the Nighthawk EAX80. My reception is now outstanding. I highly recommend this Nighthawk extender. (Works as Advertised)

We bought two new extenders. One for a new gaming PC system in our basement and one for the detached garage. We wish we had bought these years ago. They are working great.

Bought this because I have some cameras in my front yard that we’re losing connection. Set this up in about 10 min and I’ve had no issues since. Very solid and fast extender and the roaming is pretty flawless.

My network map: RAX200 tri-band router + Oribi Outdoor tr-band extender + EAX80 DUAL-band extender. The Orbi Ouder requires channel 100 for backdoor connection. BUT, When using “SmartConnect”, the RAX200 constantly switch between channel 43 and 153 as backdoor channel for Orbi Outdoor == Poor connection. The EAX and Oribi Outdoor constantly decides to take output of the other as its input channel == Two extenders “short-circut” connect to each other without the data transmitted from the RAX200 router == Drop connection all the time. There should be a firmware upgrade to make “Smart”connect becomes smart == Should have a way to distinguish “Extender” device and have a fixed backdoor channel for them depend on the requirement of the Extender.
