I purchased 2 of these items – one for my upstairs and one for downstairs. My wireless modem is in one corner of the upstairs and my devices both up and down have had tremendous problems with buffering. These two extenders were simple to install and solved the buffering problem, and it appears the the video is much more clear. Highly recommend.

I decided to try a Wifi Extender and so glad I went with Netgear. My son moved the modem with wifi in his room because when playing his PS4, it kept lagging. When he did this, my Kindle Fire would lag. I bought the Netgear Extender and PROBLEM SOLVED! If you’re internet connection is lacking, take my word, GO BUY A NETGEAR EXTENDER, you won’t be sorry!!

Disconnects from source and devices on a regular basis. Ethernet port is worthless when using as extender. Speeds from wifi host are consistently over 90Mbps, however through extender speeds have never exceeded 30Mbps and fluctuates substantially. Host and extender are only 20 feet away from each other.

The range extender does expand the coverage area to receive WiFi farther but it does not help with the areas in the house with poor reception. Disappointed that it didn’t help with the rooms that have poor reception, happy to be able to be outside on patio and have WiFi where we spend a lot of time.

I have a night hawk router, works perfectly but I wasn’t getting four bars on my Xbox. My router is in the living room, and my room is far away from the WiFi router.
