I have problem with both 2.4GHz and 5 GHz wifi network working at the same time. However, I did set it up with 5 GHz in and 2.4GHz out, this give me a very good internet speed.The internet access is not very reliable, when I am surfing the web, sometime it is drop the internet service. My own wifi router does not have the same problem.

This product didn’t meet my needs because its range is very limited and not clearly documented. It’s advertised as having coverage up to 1000 sq. ft. Sounds good, right? But how does that translate into the working distance (radius) between itself and both the main router and the user device, which is what matters. Here’s the math (A = R^2): if the area is 1000 sq. ft., the radius of the circle around it is a bit under 18 feet. Why didn’t they say so. Put a wall in the way and it’s even worse. This made it a fail for my needs.

Tried in room where i wanted. Had to move extender within 15 feet before i get a green light. Did not extend to room i needed it in.

After setting up the unit as an extender I was only able to get a few kbps. Not even 1 mbps on 2.4 or 5ghz. My network was in very good range too. On the network being extended i could easily get above 50mbps download. I tried 2 locations for the extender with the same results, only a few kbps. Maybe it works better as an access point, but this was not the results I was expecting.

Found this extender to be an easy set up to extend my Orbi Router and Satellite. Main reason I bought the EX3700 was to connect a Xerox printer to it. In this fashion it was a very cost effect extender AND connection port for my full-duplex solid ink printer.
