The device would never work as advertised and would not program accordingly. I was on the phone over an hour trying to get technical support to advise me when we were disconnected and they never called me back although they asked for my phone number up front for that purpose.

It definitely served its purpose and very easy to install. We have a split floor plan home with 3 bedrooms on one side and master room on the other side. I was getting limited Wi-Fi connection in the master room until I installed this Wi-Fi extender in the hallway leading to the master room. The connection is definitely faster than before.

I got the Netgear EX3700 delivered from B&H super fast which is great. The extender is very easy to set up, with just a browser either on your smartphone or computer. (The only thing I don’t quite like is that, in order to log on to the set up screen, Netgear forces you to create an account with them, if you don’t already have one.) Once logged on, setting up the extender is really easy, you just need to follow the instructions on the set up browser page, with the password of your existing router’s account, very simple. And the extender performs well in the house where I had it set up. Signals are strong in both 2.4G band and 5G band covering the area where I need it to extend WiFi signal. It’s a good gadget to expand your WiFi coverage.

This product does not work with Netgear52. They bump heads and cause issues with a smart TV. I have spent over 10 hours with your tech support installing my netgear52 and the netgear ext and neither work as well as my netgear24

Easy to set up, but will not stay connected to my system. I was using this to extend my wifi and it would connect to my wifi and then after using it for a while would drop the connection and I would have to start back over again. Funny thing is the place that i am using it, i can connect to my wifi base that I am trying to extend and it works fine. So not sure why this keeps dropping it. It it was not for this i would give it 5+ stars for ease of setup and use. But it just does not work.
