We recently switched from cable to streaming. Our signal strength on our Roku was listed as good, but when we turned on the microwave the tv wouldn’t work. With the extender our signal went to excellent and our problem was solved. The four star rating was because it took me a while to figure out the set up. I had to connect it to the computer and those instructions weren’t easy for me to follow.

The range extender does provide a stable signal in the Access point mode but it’s speed is less than half of what I get from the Router when using direct WIFI.
