I bought this extender to help with getting WiFi to all parts of my apartment. I was told by my internet provider that I needed an external range extender because I was having problems getting a WiFi signal in my bedroom, as the modem is in the living room. This has helped a lot so far to allow us to get the signal in the bedroom. I would recommend this for people living in an apartment, since you get a lot of interference due to multiple people using the internet at the same time.

While the extender does help some it’s not up to my expectations with transition from one area to another. It doesn’t seamlessly change as I would have hoped. Therefore I’m not sure the cost was justified for it’s purchase.

It took about 30-45 seconds to set it up on the network and suddenly the downstairs PS4 and Computer went from 1-2 bars to 4. Great addition without having to buy a Mega Router for the house.
