I have purchased numerous NetGear products over the years. This range extender worked perfectly for 18 months, but then I lost the 5G network and am left with the 2G. Since I cannot be sure this has to do with the “IPS choking”, I have ordered another of this same router. I highly recommend NetGear products.

Upon arrival I added my range extender to my router and I immediately received better reception with all of my Wi-Fi devices . Now I added a Ethernet box to the extender and I became astonished at the consistency of my reception inside and outside of my home ! CHEERS NETGEAR

Set up was quite easy. There were 2 times where the extender disconnected from the router, but other than that it has been working perfectly fine and extended the wifi to dead spaces in my apartment!

This WIFI extender is easy to set up (follow the directions). The other computer was getting a speed test of about 0.4 Mb before using the EX3700 now it’s nearing 4.8 Mb. Once it’s set up there’s noting to further to do. Just bring up your browser and start surfing the web.

Giving this product 2 stars since when it works, it works. Unfortunately, those times are far and few in between. My devices often disconnects or are connected but don’t have service. Even though my modem is working fine. The price was attracting but guess this is a case of you get what you pay for.
