I purchased this for my office before installing I was receiving 23Mbps, after installing extender 144 Mbps on 2.4 & 650 Mbps on 5G. very easy setup, I love the fact this unit allows user to change SSID name and set different password. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for boosted signal.

Works pretty good, my router is on the opposite end of my house then my front door so in order to get the ring doorbell to work I need an extender this does the job.

Setup was quick and easy. By logging into the extender I was able to update to the latest firmware and view all the features built into the Extender. Very impressed with the increase in WIFI coverage in my home.

Extender works great for the most part. One thing that could be improved is when your main router goes down. The extender acts like it is brand new again and needs to be set up. Wish it would notify that the main router is offline instead. Causes confusion for less technical savvy household members.

My Motorola DSL Router never reached the far bedroom over 100 feet away. And my Roomba vac sometimes lost it’s tether there, especially when it had to return HOME to get another charge. Also, visitors can now sit in the beds with their internet devices and get four bars instead of one. And on either frequency. I have a Verizon Jetpack that I plan to use, but may have to buy another to use together.

In a small apartment, it seems to not work unless it is rather close to the router. I’d like it to reach the bedroom but it’s just not strong enough, so either the router (Nighthawk AC 1700) or the extender are not strong enough. I may have to get a mesh system even for this small place (1100 sq. Ft.). Seems like it should work.

I bought this device so I could plug into a remote ethernet port with a VOIP phone. I heard of others having trouble with calls fading in and out, but this device is clear and without a “hiccup”. Meanwhile, I’m using the WIFI for my laptop, cell phone and tablet. That’s FOUR devices at the same time with a clear and powerful signal. I’m very happy with the product.

Like the title says, simple to setup. Fastlane works well. Only 4 stars because there should be more attention in the documentation about location of the unit, adjustment of the antennas, and, for users of Fastlane, which antenna is 2.4GHz and which antenna is 5GHz. One minor, undocumented anomaly. The status light for the wifi may go from green to amber, but the signal strength will be strong. It may be a function of sampling, i.e. if there’s a momentary drop in signal at the same time it’s being measured, the “amber” strength will show. Simply power-cycling the unit clears the amber condition.
