The wifi extender does not the expectation. I set up and followed what the instructions says. But when i tried to connect my iphone its not getting connected and it says wrong password but it says use the same password with my wifi.

Your equipment had such an easy setup that anyone could understand. Once I was able to connect, everything was functioning so quickly and surprisingly well throughout my home. Truly appreciate the great new piece of equipment.

took 45min with their support to set it up. Browser method never worked, ethernet finally did, but the device totally screwed up my WiFi when the extended network was set-up to the same name as that of the router. Nothing worked properly any longer.

Netgear ended up on everyone’s iPad in house, even my grandchilds’, under “network” in settings. I immediately removed Netgear and unplugged Netgear from outlet.

I received this extender as a present a few months ago. Finally I decided to try it because my with EX6100 doesn’t reach my rear yard. I am very happy with my EX6100. It does what it supposed to do and I can always get into the user page to modify settings. The EX3700 is a nightmare. I lost count of how many times I have factory restored it and start the setup from scratch. I reached out to the customer service and I was told I needed to buy a service package because I was past the three-month period. The representative had a very thick accent and I can tell he was reading a prompt. I am positive he doesn’t know how the item works. After many attempts, I was able to set it up. I get signal to my iPad, and even though the extender most of the time has the top-left light red or yellow, the signal keeps coming through. I think the hardware is damaged. I would not recommend this model. Get one that lets you get into the user/settings page every single time and avoid the frustration.
