Have had no trouble with this bad boy, use it for streaming purposes through a wired connection on my PS4. This works great. I’ve been researching on how to get better wi-fi signal in my garage. I was actually planning to either run an ethernet cable from the living room (where the hub is located) to the garage (which is about 30 feet away), or just getting a dedicated line in the garage. I found this little gadget and it worked great. Easy to set up and cheap too.

From the outset, this extender posed problems. I spent approx. one hour on the phone with support to get it operational. We had to reset the unit and update the firmware just to get connectivity to my WIFI. WPS has never functioned and now the extender randomly drops off the network for no logical reason. So what did support do? They sent me a 2 page instruction on how to get it to work. My extender wouldn’t go past step 3 of approx. 18 steps. Netgear to date will not exchange the unit until some ambiguous criteria is met. Now they want me to call support again. I have already wasted 3 hours with multiple attempts to get it to function properly. Good luck if your extender doesn’t work as advertised! You’ll need it. I recommend you avoid this unit.
