With enhanced 802.11ac Wi-Fi technology, the EX7000 AC1900 Nighthawk Wi-Fi Range Extender from NETGEAR supports wireless data transfer rates of up to 1900Mbps. In addition to 802.11ac technology, this range extender also supports 802.11a/b/g/n networking standards so you can connect nearly any Wi-Fi enabled device to the network. With dual band functionality, you can allocate tasks such as email and web browsing to the 2.4GHz frequency leaving the less congested 5GHz frequency for more bandwidth intensive jobs such as streaming multimedia content, gaming, and more. The EX7000 sports three external antennas for maximum wireless coverage as well as five Gigabit Ethernet ports for a range of network connection options. You can even connect USB compatible peripherals such as hard drives and printers to your network via the integrated USB 3.0 port located on the back of the range extender.

I usually do no rave about electronic equipment, yet in this case, the tether of one room wifi coverage is cut! The AC1900 has opened up a previous data bottleneck with about 10 devices struggling for wifi, and now I am smooth sailing while enjoying the on demand access of fast, seamless wireless range extension provided by the AC1900 extender. So robust is the signal in fact, that I pulled up to the post office box, around the corner from the apartment, and lo-behold, signal strength 2 bars and running at 20mps in comparison to standalone router which covered only the house and dropped off outside. Now Arlo, Albert, Ring, and my wifi cam system stream with ease, enhancing the security of the house with reliable, strong internet signal during the holidays. Thanks!

I had very bad WiFi in my house, I only got less than a megabyte, and I was only upstairs while the router was downstairs. My dad came home with this extender, easy setup, and it improved my WiFi coverage giving my phone around 50 mbs (5 ghz) and about 20-30 mbs (2 ghz). Worked well for me, I just hoped for at least 10 mbs and got way more. Good. You should buy.

We live in the country and about our only option for relatively fast internet is our cell phone provider via a cell phone tower. When our phone company modem/router went out, we looked for another solution and purchased a jetpack as a combination modem and router. It works well but does not have much range in our house. I looked at wifi range extender and based on reviews, bought the EX7000. It has performed flawlessly since we’ve had it. Setup was easy and it improves our signal at the furthermost parts of the house significantly. Signal strength at the furthest room of the house from the extender is always very good (4 bars) or excellent (5 bars). This extender has made our internet experience so much better. So glad we bought this!

Great affordable mesh wifi. Works seamlessly with previous router and after you update the firmware is perfect for a mesh wifi system. No more do you have to transfer over to an _ext network! Same name for your wireless network throughout home. Must be able to figure out how to update firmware for the “mesh” wifi to work.

If you live in a big home and your wireless router has trouble reaching certain areas, or if you have dead spots, the Netgear Nighthawk EX7000 is the best Wi-Fi booster available. It’s not discreet like many range extenders, but it covers more ground than other boosters, and does so at higher speeds. It’s a breeze to install and offers enough wired LAN ports to connect to gaming consoles, HDTVs, and other networked devices. Bottom line, you will be happy with this extender.
