With enhanced 802.11ac Wi-Fi technology, the EX7000 AC1900 Nighthawk Wi-Fi Range Extender from NETGEAR supports wireless data transfer rates of up to 1900Mbps. In addition to 802.11ac technology, this range extender also supports 802.11a/b/g/n networking standards so you can connect nearly any Wi-Fi enabled device to the network. With dual band functionality, you can allocate tasks such as email and web browsing to the 2.4GHz frequency leaving the less congested 5GHz frequency for more bandwidth intensive jobs such as streaming multimedia content, gaming, and more. The EX7000 sports three external antennas for maximum wireless coverage as well as five Gigabit Ethernet ports for a range of network connection options. You can even connect USB compatible peripherals such as hard drives and printers to your network via the integrated USB 3.0 port located on the back of the range extender.

I got Netgear Mesh extender to help with my coverage downstairs and upstairs. I was having issues with the signal from my Nighthawk router in my office, to my devices in the living room. It was only 40ft but I think my kitchen appliances, in the middle of both, were interfering. After setting it up, I am having no issues with my devices downstairs. It works great and there is never any buffering, also with the additional Ethernet connections I can hardwire my gaming devices instead of having them wireless. A great extender so far and I would definitely recommend this to my family and friends.

Works amazing! We have a large household with many smart TVs, gaming consoles and smart devices. My location in comparison to my router is dreadful. The signal has to go through 4 walls, 2 of which are exterior walls. This, in combination with the Nighthawk XR500, has solved my weak signal and bandwith issues!
