With enhanced 802.11ac Wi-Fi technology, the EX7000 AC1900 Nighthawk Wi-Fi Range Extender from NETGEAR supports wireless data transfer rates of up to 1900Mbps. In addition to 802.11ac technology, this range extender also supports 802.11a/b/g/n networking standards so you can connect nearly any Wi-Fi enabled device to the network. With dual band functionality, you can allocate tasks such as email and web browsing to the 2.4GHz frequency leaving the less congested 5GHz frequency for more bandwidth intensive jobs such as streaming multimedia content, gaming, and more. The EX7000 sports three external antennas for maximum wireless coverage as well as five Gigabit Ethernet ports for a range of network connection options. You can even connect USB compatible peripherals such as hard drives and printers to your network via the integrated USB 3.0 port located on the back of the range extender.

What can I say, I’ve used other extenders that just didn’t provide the service and power I needed until I met this one. I feel like it has more power and range than my actual router/modem. It instantly upgraded the internet in our house and I’m extremely happy with this product. I even went and bough another for the same problem at work and it’s taken away our headache of connectivity problems there too!

I have a Nighthawk modem/router and I thought this would be fully compatible. But my signal is MUCH better without it. In fact, this completely kills the Wi-Fi altogether the closer I get to the modem. It’s very strange. This is completely useless!

Had a ex6200/Ac1200 for several years and wanted to upgrade .So I Looked at several models from several brands I ended up back to netgear and choose the Ex7000/AC1900 and I can say that the extender was very easy to set up and get running less than 5 minutes and coverage is unmatched . I use the 2.4 GHz to connect it to my wi fi router and the extender to send out only 5 GHz . (Beamforming) I think that’s what it is called .and I have phone ,tv, dvdplayer ,streaming box ,laptop,and ,sound bar connected with NO BUFFERING, and no dead spots or dropped connections ….also have desktop pc and security cameras, printer ,hooked up to the ports on it ….so yeah it gets 5 stars …

We have a big 2 story house and the Nighthawk router was towards the west end of the house. We had a signal occasionally upstairs and weak signal in the east end. I put the extender about half way and now we have 4-5 bars throughout the entire house. My wife is happy…
