With enhanced 802.11ac Wi-Fi technology, the EX7000 AC1900 Nighthawk Wi-Fi Range Extender from NETGEAR supports wireless data transfer rates of up to 1900Mbps. In addition to 802.11ac technology, this range extender also supports 802.11a/b/g/n networking standards so you can connect nearly any Wi-Fi enabled device to the network. With dual band functionality, you can allocate tasks such as email and web browsing to the 2.4GHz frequency leaving the less congested 5GHz frequency for more bandwidth intensive jobs such as streaming multimedia content, gaming, and more. The EX7000 sports three external antennas for maximum wireless coverage as well as five Gigabit Ethernet ports for a range of network connection options. You can even connect USB compatible peripherals such as hard drives and printers to your network via the integrated USB 3.0 port located on the back of the range extender.

I set this up to extend my WiFi connection and I also use it for an Ethernet connection for my smart TV and PS4. It was so easy to set up and it works great! Recommend!

It seems to have fixed my connection issue. But had to hard wire console to the extender.

I purchased the AC1900 Extender in hopes to make my internet stronger throughout my home. It works like a champ and def made not replacing my system with mesh well worth it!

I bought it and was very excited to use it because I work from home. My internet improved, but it isn’t at its full potential. I still have spots in my little house where the internet doesn’t reached. I may have to reinstall for the third time. I tried doing trough the webpage but it didn’t allow me.

I have a very long house and have made numerous attempts to get good wifi signal throughout the house. I had a wire running across my kitchen floor for years to a secondary router to boost signal…I’ve used numerous extenders and had limited success. I had a little trouble getting this to get both the 2.4 and 5Ghz wifi signals so I had to do it manually, but once I got them both I put the router in the kitchen and was able to walk to the furthest end of the house and close the door and still get 5 bars on my phone. Yay! So far so good. I am going to try moving it into another room where it will blend in better with the surroundings to see if it works as well, if not, it will stay in the kitchen and just get mounted on the wall.

With the need growing for more WiFi bandwidth and coverage in the house and to fight the neighbors signal I decided to buy the EX7000. So far, its doing it job well. The setup was very easy, I went the direct connect to my computer via Ethernet. It only took 2-5 minutes for setup, and another 5 minutes to test my chosen location and run some speed tests. My router is in the basement, not my desired spot but rather done out of necessity, needless to say I am getting almost the same speeds in the basement as I am upstairs now. I would recommend this extender without any hesitation.

I purchased this extender due to dead spots in some of mi WiFi connected security cameras and other dead zones in the house and it has extended the WiFi to all of my dead zones and to the outside of the home in areas where I could not get a connection. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend this to anyone needing to extend their WiFi range from their router.

We bought a home with a basement and the WiFi wouldn’t reach. After buying this, I’m able to work in the basement, game, and stream with no delay or buffering!

This was a very nice addition to my gaming network which was already handle by my Nighthawk!! This also covers my wifi which extands that range even more in my 3200 sq ft house, that is also two stories! Nicely done Netgear. Plan to add a extender soon to make sure i can cover my front and backyards. This is a keeper. With high speed connections and also 4 ether ports. Easy connection with just a push of a button, simple indicators to show what is connected.

I keep having to reset and redoing the connection. Out of the four devises I want to connect, half the time only one will connect to the WiFi and it changes at times. Sometimes just my phone, another time just my iPad, another time just my computer, and another time just my roku. I’m looking for a better WiFi extender. Netgear support was horrible, probably because I’m not hosting for it at this time, but is would never pay for support for having this for less than two months. Pure garbage!

WiFi Extender works great and now have all areas of my home and even outside spaces covered with good solid WiFi connections.

It works as expected, I’m using the wired connection and it is good.

I have no idea why I didn’t buy this sooner! It has made ALL the difference in our two-story, the upstairs of which had terrible connectivity. I was always afraid of the idea of an extender-stupid, I know-but this is the BEST thing I ever bought and it is powerful! 3000 square foot, two story home and everything is great now!

Extender enables great internet access to cameras for newly installed security program.

I love this extender. It is exactly what my husband and I have been searching and searching for. We watched many YouTube videos and read lots of reviews. I’m happy to say it played up to the part of the great things we were hearing. Can’t wait to use more Netgear products in the future.

Good replacement for a much more expensive netgear extender that only lasted 2 years.
