With enhanced 802.11ac Wi-Fi technology, the EX7000 AC1900 Nighthawk Wi-Fi Range Extender from NETGEAR supports wireless data transfer rates of up to 1900Mbps. In addition to 802.11ac technology, this range extender also supports 802.11a/b/g/n networking standards so you can connect nearly any Wi-Fi enabled device to the network. With dual band functionality, you can allocate tasks such as email and web browsing to the 2.4GHz frequency leaving the less congested 5GHz frequency for more bandwidth intensive jobs such as streaming multimedia content, gaming, and more. The EX7000 sports three external antennas for maximum wireless coverage as well as five Gigabit Ethernet ports for a range of network connection options. You can even connect USB compatible peripherals such as hard drives and printers to your network via the integrated USB 3.0 port located on the back of the range extender.

I live in an RV park and the WIFI is free. I am about 50-60 yards from the router. Prior to getting the EX7000 the WIFI connection was spotty at best. This extender did the trick. worked great off of windstream wireless anywhere in house. WPS setup worked okay but recommend using the setup web program instead as it required an update and seemed to connect faster after that. Presently have it outside in office area and is further away than it should be but works most of the time on 2.4g. Am going to try an external antenna for the office and I think it will work fine. Really was meant for the house but am moving it around. Great range.

This extender works great and was very easy to set up. It is very easy to change settings even if you are a novice. I don’t use it, but it also has the option to use the same wifi network name as your router. The USB ports also work and there is an option to turn it off and on.
