With enhanced 802.11ac Wi-Fi technology, the EX7000 AC1900 Nighthawk Wi-Fi Range Extender from NETGEAR supports wireless data transfer rates of up to 1900Mbps. In addition to 802.11ac technology, this range extender also supports 802.11a/b/g/n networking standards so you can connect nearly any Wi-Fi enabled device to the network. With dual band functionality, you can allocate tasks such as email and web browsing to the 2.4GHz frequency leaving the less congested 5GHz frequency for more bandwidth intensive jobs such as streaming multimedia content, gaming, and more. The EX7000 sports three external antennas for maximum wireless coverage as well as five Gigabit Ethernet ports for a range of network connection options. You can even connect USB compatible peripherals such as hard drives and printers to your network via the integrated USB 3.0 port located on the back of the range extender.

It helped to boost the signal to my laptop. Unfortunately, it completely interfered with my other wireless devices that worked fine before. They could not stay connected for more than three minutes at a time. I disconnected the Netgear and then the other devices worked fine again.

Our family has been a big proponent of Netgear for quite some time and with two growing children it was time to upgrade our home wifi to extend up to the second floor. Definitely a 5 star process for us for sure. Now both the kids room get a solid signal and can do things in their rooms that they previously could not before.

If the EX7000 does not work properly with Spectrum or any other ISP, come forward and let users know. Instead, one will be troubleshooting with Netgear technical Staff and repeating again and again, due to the fact the extender goes back to provide intermittent Services after being fixed. How is it possible, a device as this on with a Ethernet Hub, is not capable to provide Internet access if the systems are connected via Ethernet cable (NIC)? I need Netgear to resolve this challenge if they expect the rating to be change to more Stars. This means, if they are willing to utilize my case to resolve the technical challenges of this extender model is having with the ISP providers, I am willing to help out versus expending more time doing the same troubleshooting of setting the device. Netgear, you have my information, just in case look up case# 45914133. I challenge Netgear to own this challenge and resolve it in a Win-Win manner.

But after getting a Netgear wifi extender, I have had zero problems connecting. Video calls are crisp and clear. Internet is super fast. I love it. And highly recommend it.
