With enhanced 802.11ac Wi-Fi technology, the EX7300 AC2200 Nighthawk Wi-Fi Range Extender from NETGEAR supports wireless data transfer rates of up to 2200 Mbps. In addition to 802.11ac technology, this range extender also supports 802.11a/b/g/n networking standards so you can connect nearly any Wi-Fi enabled device to the network. With dual band functionality, you can allocate tasks such as email and web browsing to the 2.4 GHz frequency leaving the less congested 5 GHz frequency for more bandwidth intensive jobs such as streaming multimedia content, gaming, and more. The EX7300 features an internal antenna array and high power amplifiers for maximum wireless coverage as well as a single Gigabit Ethernet port for a range of network connection options.

Getting it setup was a little tricky, but it had been working great. It actually reaches a little further than I expected at first, so that’s a bonus. Works well both my fios gateway which was my only concern and it may help to set the channels instead of leaving it on auto. Overall very satisfied with the wifi extender.

Was a little skeptical about how far the WiFi would reach, but it’s amazing. Recently about a 5 acre property and the WiFi would only go up to the garage but with the AC2200 it reaches halfway down my 300ft long driveway. Definitely would buy again if I had to.

We were having issues with spotty wifi coverage in certain areas of our home, a modest colonial. A “techie” friend suggested adding a range extender to improve coverage and performance. Did a little research online and decided upon the Netgear AC2200 Mesh WiFi Extender. Our local office supply store had only one in stock. Got it home and out of the box. Downloaded the app on my smartphone and set up the extender in just minutes. I was even able to use the same name as the original network. Then just plugged it in and, moments later, it was up and running. Now there are no gaps in coverage even in the basement. It also reaches outside to the deck and patio. The app has a speed test built in and we have excellent ping and up/download speeds. Problem solved! It works better and faster than expected. And I did it myself!
