With enhanced 802.11ac Wi-Fi technology, the EX7300 AC2200 Nighthawk Wi-Fi Range Extender from NETGEAR supports wireless data transfer rates of up to 2200 Mbps. In addition to 802.11ac technology, this range extender also supports 802.11a/b/g/n networking standards so you can connect nearly any Wi-Fi enabled device to the network. With dual band functionality, you can allocate tasks such as email and web browsing to the 2.4 GHz frequency leaving the less congested 5 GHz frequency for more bandwidth intensive jobs such as streaming multimedia content, gaming, and more. The EX7300 features an internal antenna array and high power amplifiers for maximum wireless coverage as well as a single Gigabit Ethernet port for a range of network connection options.

I put this in a metal building about 125 feet away from my router. It had 11 download and 4 upload. Moved it to nearer end of building and got great signal. 36 download 15 upload with less than 1 ping. It will do what I want which is internet in that building. I’ll just use a longer Ethernet cable to get it done

This wifi extender was so easy to set up, straight out of the box! The signal is stronger and more stable than the last one I had, but what I like even more than that is the abundance of customer support available online. This is because after setup, I ran into an issue where my phone and tablet wouldn’t stay connected to the extender, even though my laptop always did. So, I went to Netgear’s website, which had support articles and downloads specific to my extender model. I was able to update the extender’s firmware and restart it without even having to leave my chair (and without knowing what firmware even is)! Since then, everything has been working flawlessly. I’m very glad I decided to choose this extender.
