With enhanced 802.11ac Wi-Fi technology, the EX7300 AC2200 Nighthawk Wi-Fi Range Extender from NETGEAR supports wireless data transfer rates of up to 2200 Mbps. In addition to 802.11ac technology, this range extender also supports 802.11a/b/g/n networking standards so you can connect nearly any Wi-Fi enabled device to the network. With dual band functionality, you can allocate tasks such as email and web browsing to the 2.4 GHz frequency leaving the less congested 5 GHz frequency for more bandwidth intensive jobs such as streaming multimedia content, gaming, and more. The EX7300 features an internal antenna array and high power amplifiers for maximum wireless coverage as well as a single Gigabit Ethernet port for a range of network connection options.

The NETGEAR AC2200 Mesh WiFi Extender is a great product. It has a big range and is still fast at the edge. We use it for a stationary bike, Xbox, computers and more. It may seem a bit price but the investment will payoff with great WiFi.

The extender is something we really needed in order to get a good signal from a basement located router up across a 4 bedroom 3 stores house with an extended garage. The extender works great! I’m getting signal out in my camper a good 700 ft from router. I took off a star because the directions were vague. By copying the exact name of the network, it was hard to know the device was working. I wish it would rename it with a different extension so that one can tell the gizmo works.

I upgraded from amp wireless rec15a. I was going to go with the rec 44 but after reading reviews decided to go with the Nighthawk X4. I setup it up with 5ghz fastlane, which was easy to do. I have had it running for a few days and the signal strength is great. No dropped connections either yet. So far a solid performer.

The extender works great, solved the problem we were having. I would have rated it 5 stars, but the installation instructions were misleading. At several points it stated to connect to the NETGEAR network provided by the extender, when actually you needed to connect to the network in your home. Once I figured that out installation was a breeze.
