With enhanced 802.11ac Wi-Fi technology, the EX7300 AC2200 Nighthawk Wi-Fi Range Extender from NETGEAR supports wireless data transfer rates of up to 2200 Mbps. In addition to 802.11ac technology, this range extender also supports 802.11a/b/g/n networking standards so you can connect nearly any Wi-Fi enabled device to the network. With dual band functionality, you can allocate tasks such as email and web browsing to the 2.4 GHz frequency leaving the less congested 5 GHz frequency for more bandwidth intensive jobs such as streaming multimedia content, gaming, and more. The EX7300 features an internal antenna array and high power amplifiers for maximum wireless coverage as well as a single Gigabit Ethernet port for a range of network connection options.

Huge contrast with my previous TP-Link AC750. Very reliable connection. Setup mostly smooth, but the setup app not very user friendly, like you cannot step back to correct a mistake and menu options are not very clear. However, once installed it is an amazing product!

We recently cut the cord and we are streaming on all of our tvs. As a result our previous extender (NETGEAR N300) was no longer doing the job. I bought this wifi range extender and I also purchased the NETGEAR R6700 Nighthawk AC1750 Dual Band Smart WiFi Router. I am pleased with the coverage. It is definitely an improvement from my previous extender/router combo. It basically does the trick for our tv streaming and our web surfing on various devices. I live in a 6000 sq ft house and we have coverage in all of the rooms.

This is not a seamless device when paired with the NetGear router, you still have to select extender and connect.. I returned mine,, will be waiting for a true router extender that you don’t have to connect to.

I am not quite sure what i think about this product, because i am still trying to figure out how to tell if it is actually working or, making a difference. I have a two story house with one PC down stairs on the first floor, with one smart TV on the first floor an another on second floor, i do notice when streaming media in particular videos from my PC to my smart TV upstairs, the message check your connection appears and then the signal is lost, after which i have to reconnect the streaming app. I know this may not be the forum for questions, but if anyone can answer this one, it would be greatly appreciated, how can you tell if the extender is working or, actually making a difference?

i’m not a tech guy and i found the installation fairly easy. i also like the flexibility of this product. i currently have it set up to extend the WiFi signal, but I have a Cat5 cable and switch at the other end of the house and it turns out i can also plug this product into that to act like a second WiFi router. very satisfied.

I was having an issue with HULU buffering in the main level with my router on the upper level. I added a Netgear AC2200 Mesh WiFi extender and no longer have this issue. Works better than expected.

Was having connectivity issues with a couple of outdoor cameras at the other end of the house. Was reviewing a couple of extenders but this one made the most sense since we are already using a netgear router. I can say that within 1 day of connecting the extender in our upstairs guest room we have not had any of our cameras disconnect. Works great, setup was easy I highly recommend this extender. Even if you are not using a netgear router.

Purchased the AC2200 Mesh WIFI Extender, actually works quite well. Would definitely suggest using the Nighthawk app for set up as opposed to the WPS set up.
