With enhanced 802.11ac Wi-Fi technology, the EX7300 AC2200 Nighthawk Wi-Fi Range Extender from NETGEAR supports wireless data transfer rates of up to 2200 Mbps. In addition to 802.11ac technology, this range extender also supports 802.11a/b/g/n networking standards so you can connect nearly any Wi-Fi enabled device to the network. With dual band functionality, you can allocate tasks such as email and web browsing to the 2.4 GHz frequency leaving the less congested 5 GHz frequency for more bandwidth intensive jobs such as streaming multimedia content, gaming, and more. The EX7300 features an internal antenna array and high power amplifiers for maximum wireless coverage as well as a single Gigabit Ethernet port for a range of network connection options.

I suggest this extender a LOT. I live in the basement of my house with the wifi router being upstairs it’s hard getting good internet. After setting up the extender It totally changed the wifi for me in a positive way with fast and reliable signal.

I find the Setup Instructions a bit confusing for this product. I was trying to integrate the Extender with my existing setup of Google Nest family. I ended up exchanging with a Google Nest product.

My home office is on the other side of our fireplace/chimney from where our router is located for the rest of the house. I had been using an extender (from another manufacturer) in the office and was putting up with the increase it provided – from nearly 0 to, at most, 75 mps, while the house was getting 350-400 mps. That extender died, and several reviews led me to this Netgear mesh extender. What a huge difference! I now consistently get 150-175 mps and am extremely happy with this purchase.
