With enhanced 802.11ac Wi-Fi technology, the EX7300 AC2200 Nighthawk Wi-Fi Range Extender from NETGEAR supports wireless data transfer rates of up to 2200 Mbps. In addition to 802.11ac technology, this range extender also supports 802.11a/b/g/n networking standards so you can connect nearly any Wi-Fi enabled device to the network. With dual band functionality, you can allocate tasks such as email and web browsing to the 2.4 GHz frequency leaving the less congested 5 GHz frequency for more bandwidth intensive jobs such as streaming multimedia content, gaming, and more. The EX7300 features an internal antenna array and high power amplifiers for maximum wireless coverage as well as a single Gigabit Ethernet port for a range of network connection options.

After calling customer service to be able to hook up this extender, my bandwith speed actually diminished. I was told that it is normal to lose 25% bandwith speed when using the extender.

I’ve been through a few different WiFi range extenders that would keep dropping the connection. However, so far this one has been doing a great job. I’ve only had it a couple of weeks, but haven’t had any problems.

Performance very poor. Camera has trouble connecting and takes very long time to connect. Camera works fine when not connected to extender.

Worked out after moved closer to the router. Coverage is in and out in farthest part of the house. 5 GHz is almost non-existent. Thinking of adding a second mesh WiFi extender to see if that helps.

The AC2200 wifi extender was very simple to set up. The wifi extender has boosted the WiFi signal in the front living room and has allowed us to run a Xbox One and two pieces of exercise equipment without any issues. Would highly recommend this product!

Overall easy to install. There are still some issues with Wi-Fi, but it may be due to the amount of electronic devices going all at once. I have noticed a faster upload and download time.
