With enhanced 802.11ac Wi-Fi technology, the EX7300 AC2200 Nighthawk Wi-Fi Range Extender from NETGEAR supports wireless data transfer rates of up to 2200 Mbps. In addition to 802.11ac technology, this range extender also supports 802.11a/b/g/n networking standards so you can connect nearly any Wi-Fi enabled device to the network. With dual band functionality, you can allocate tasks such as email and web browsing to the 2.4 GHz frequency leaving the less congested 5 GHz frequency for more bandwidth intensive jobs such as streaming multimedia content, gaming, and more. The EX7300 features an internal antenna array and high power amplifiers for maximum wireless coverage as well as a single Gigabit Ethernet port for a range of network connection options.

I highly recommend this router. We had a router provided by our internet service company. It would not provide enough signal to service our 2500 square foot home. We constantly lost or had little or no signal all over our house. We purchased this router and in no time at all( set up was so easy). We have the best signal we have ever had everywhere. We also have the ability to adjust its settings to create stronger or weaker signals to the right devices when needed.

We recently moved into an older, very large, semi-rural home, and were really struggling to get our WIFI to work anywhere 20 ft past the router. This extender, which we did buy refurbished, has made that range much closer to 2,000 feet with full signal, and moderate signal and speed ~2300 feet. We like this so much we are adding one more. Couldn’t recommend more highly, as even set up was easy and clear and only took about 10 min total.

the extender made the connection upstairs go from 3 mb to 180 mb i like the fact that all the buttons are on the side instillation took a good 30 -40 min so i would ask that netgear would make the setup time and little easier
