With enhanced 802.11ac Wi-Fi technology, the EX7300 AC2200 Nighthawk Wi-Fi Range Extender from NETGEAR supports wireless data transfer rates of up to 2200 Mbps. In addition to 802.11ac technology, this range extender also supports 802.11a/b/g/n networking standards so you can connect nearly any Wi-Fi enabled device to the network. With dual band functionality, you can allocate tasks such as email and web browsing to the 2.4 GHz frequency leaving the less congested 5 GHz frequency for more bandwidth intensive jobs such as streaming multimedia content, gaming, and more. The EX7300 features an internal antenna array and high power amplifiers for maximum wireless coverage as well as a single Gigabit Ethernet port for a range of network connection options.

I was skeptical at first about this devices ability to meet the ranges it’s claims. I live in an old stone house that have thick stone walls. We have serious issues with WiFi. I have to say I was thoroughly impressed to see our WiFi boosted to areas of the house that had no range before and four bars at that!

The setup was easier than an ATM. There is NO throughput degradation comparing my router’s performance and the extender located in my detached garage. The Netgear AC2200 works perfectly where others have failed miserably.

The range has been extended moderately but devices in close proximity to the router struggle to stay connected. If I am a few rooms away from the router I have no issues but as I move closer to my router and get with in 20 feet or less I loose WiFi to that device

Extremely easy to install. Extender using the same name so devices connect without delay or having to reconnect is awesome. I have a detached garage that was just barely out of range and now have signal all throughout yard. The lights make it easy to know everything is working properly. It does take a few minutes for the device to actually connect so be patient because it is well worth it.
