With enhanced 802.11ac Wi-Fi technology, the EX7300 AC2200 Nighthawk Wi-Fi Range Extender from NETGEAR supports wireless data transfer rates of up to 2200 Mbps. In addition to 802.11ac technology, this range extender also supports 802.11a/b/g/n networking standards so you can connect nearly any Wi-Fi enabled device to the network. With dual band functionality, you can allocate tasks such as email and web browsing to the 2.4 GHz frequency leaving the less congested 5 GHz frequency for more bandwidth intensive jobs such as streaming multimedia content, gaming, and more. The EX7300 features an internal antenna array and high power amplifiers for maximum wireless coverage as well as a single Gigabit Ethernet port for a range of network connection options.

Easy set up! I’m not in the least bit “techy”… Not at all. I’ve put up with slow Internet in the front part of my house for about six years. I thought one of these Internet boosters would be too hard for me to set up. But with my daughters urging I worded this Netgear Wi-Fi booster. OK, now I wish I done this five years ago. Very easy to set up. And I am overjoyed with the increase in my Wi-Fi in the front of my house.We had dead zones in the front of the house where our phones would go dead and our smart TV in the front wasn’t so smart. However, after putting in the Wi-Fi booster were able to get all the channels that were supposed to. And quickly to boot! No more dropped calls in the front of the house. I would highly recommend this booster to anyone. Even those that are “technologically challenged”!

Initially bought this to extend an existing network but it would not connect to the existing router. Bought a Nighthawk router and used the Nighthawk app to set it up. Piece of cake.

My apartment is one long hall basically and I was having trouble with my wifi, because the wifi box was at the other end of the apartment and I basically had no connection. This extender is amazing and works so well! I have amazing wifi now and have not had a single issue with it. Set up is very easy and straight forward. I would recommend this product to anybody who is having a hard time with their wifi!

Hi. This extender works pretty well. We only have trouble on nights where I think everyone in our immediate vicinity is using wireless. We live in condo. Instructions for updating software are good once you find them. But I’m usually bouncing around the net until I find the one that work for me. That being said I’m not a new customer and because of the available upgrades I have been using this for a couple of years now. I know I need an upgrade when it stops working well. Because of course comcast doesn’t tell us when they update the modem. And when they update the modem you need to update the extender. All that said I recommend this for a multistory your smart tv is far away from your modem purchase
