With enhanced 802.11ac Wi-Fi technology, the EX7300 AC2200 Nighthawk Wi-Fi Range Extender from NETGEAR supports wireless data transfer rates of up to 2200 Mbps. In addition to 802.11ac technology, this range extender also supports 802.11a/b/g/n networking standards so you can connect nearly any Wi-Fi enabled device to the network. With dual band functionality, you can allocate tasks such as email and web browsing to the 2.4 GHz frequency leaving the less congested 5 GHz frequency for more bandwidth intensive jobs such as streaming multimedia content, gaming, and more. The EX7300 features an internal antenna array and high power amplifiers for maximum wireless coverage as well as a single Gigabit Ethernet port for a range of network connection options.

Extender works well. Only negative is that the app is slow to load and make changes. It also sometimes leaves my phone on the 2.4 band instead of the 5 band for a lot longer than it should

I saw the reviews. Google searched for what would work best. The extender came highly recommended. It works, but hardly reach a quarter of the distance it says. Very slow downloading and upload 20/2 meg. I’m not even very far from my router. Sold green and could distance it further. I’d take it back if I could. Lost the recipe.

We have found the NETGEAR AC2200 Mesh WiFi Extender (EX7300v2) to be a reliable and straightforward solution to increase our WiFi and an excellent purchase. It was simple to install using the “Connect with WPS” instructions. Once installed, we used the NETGEAR Nighthawk app to monitor its performance and see what devices were connecting to the extender. Our router is on the first floor, and we plugged the extender to an open-air hallway upstairs, and this has worked very well since my office is on the second floor. I especially like the mobility of the extender. I can move it outside on our deck and get a stronger signal. The other feature of the WiFi extender that I wasn’t fond of at first, but have now come to appreciate and now understand the logic, is the use of the same name as our router.
