With enhanced 802.11ac Wi-Fi technology, the EX7300 AC2200 Nighthawk Wi-Fi Range Extender from NETGEAR supports wireless data transfer rates of up to 2200 Mbps. In addition to 802.11ac technology, this range extender also supports 802.11a/b/g/n networking standards so you can connect nearly any Wi-Fi enabled device to the network. With dual band functionality, you can allocate tasks such as email and web browsing to the 2.4 GHz frequency leaving the less congested 5 GHz frequency for more bandwidth intensive jobs such as streaming multimedia content, gaming, and more. The EX7300 features an internal antenna array and high power amplifiers for maximum wireless coverage as well as a single Gigabit Ethernet port for a range of network connection options.

The extender works great! However I had a very difficult time connecting it to my wifi. Apparently it is designed to use only with Netgear router but if you search hard enough, you can figure out how to link it to a Linksys router. Takes a lot of time and patience!

Ok, it works but it will only do mesh if you plug it into your router. Speeds are excellent and it maintains a strong connection. I’ve had excellent reception since installing it. It’s fairly small but if it were a little smaller I could fit it behind my TV and just plug it into the TV instead of running the TV wirelessly

Was having a lot of issues with streaming. Our service provider suggested that we purchase the Netgear Extender. My son-in-law did the research and I purchased 2 of them. I have 1 upstairs in my hall out side the room were my router is and the 2nd one in my kitchen. Easy set up. Follow the directions and we have had no problems with streaming. Great product. Would recommend to anyone having issues.

Mainly needed extra coverage out in our backyard. Plugging it into the back outside wall plug did nothing. Running an extension cord and placing it in the back window facing the backyard did the trick. We use it to reach an extra ring camera and to support music streaming about 45-50 feet back from the house.
