With enhanced 802.11ac Wi-Fi technology, the EX7300 AC2200 Nighthawk Wi-Fi Range Extender from NETGEAR supports wireless data transfer rates of up to 2200 Mbps. In addition to 802.11ac technology, this range extender also supports 802.11a/b/g/n networking standards so you can connect nearly any Wi-Fi enabled device to the network. With dual band functionality, you can allocate tasks such as email and web browsing to the 2.4 GHz frequency leaving the less congested 5 GHz frequency for more bandwidth intensive jobs such as streaming multimedia content, gaming, and more. The EX7300 features an internal antenna array and high power amplifiers for maximum wireless coverage as well as a single Gigabit Ethernet port for a range of network connection options.

Latitude E7470, Windows 10 Pro with Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260. WiFi is not stable and will not Authenticate. Apparently does not play well with Apple WiFi. Should have researched before buying.

I’ve been trying to eliminate 2 connection issues upstairs in 2 guest rooms. 1 on the N. Side and the other on the S. Side of the house with allot of buffering while trying to stream Netflix, Hulu, and so on. Completed my homework and chose this WiFi extender and dumped the old one. I was honestly expecting to be let down because boatloads of products always claim to do allot and never actually work. Well, so far so good time will tell if this extender holds up. The directions were pretty straight forward to complete set up. The key is 4 green lights with the best location for optimal performance. I had to move it around about 4 times and found the best location! I placed it above an arching window in my den downstairs that’s in view of the room above the garage. From the room above the garage you can see the extender at the top of the window on the ledge. Netflix and the other wireless apps on the smart t.v. And FireStick are connecting and now streaming without buffering! A headache solved. Give it a try, be patient and move it around until you find a spot lateral to the router and midway From the room with connection issues. This for me was on the ledge of the arching window. The first three locations had all green lights but the signal had too many barriers to go thru! Try to find a spot with the least amount of barriers and I believe you’ll be successful as well. So far, So Good!

It worked as fast as I did the steps, it’s not like you have to pull out a computer to do any of it. I suggest this if for the better and cheaper side compared to their other products.

I got this network extender to stretch my wifi to reach a security camera I had on the outside of my house. I had a little trouble getting it to connect because the instructions were not very clear about how to get onto my network (I had to go into the router settings through a browser and it took a while to figure it out) but once I was in there it set up fairly easily. Now I have a bigger wifi range and everything is working great.
