With enhanced 802.11ac Wi-Fi technology, the EX7300 AC2200 Nighthawk Wi-Fi Range Extender from NETGEAR supports wireless data transfer rates of up to 2200 Mbps. In addition to 802.11ac technology, this range extender also supports 802.11a/b/g/n networking standards so you can connect nearly any Wi-Fi enabled device to the network. With dual band functionality, you can allocate tasks such as email and web browsing to the 2.4 GHz frequency leaving the less congested 5 GHz frequency for more bandwidth intensive jobs such as streaming multimedia content, gaming, and more. The EX7300 features an internal antenna array and high power amplifiers for maximum wireless coverage as well as a single Gigabit Ethernet port for a range of network connection options.

Hooked up fairly easy without to much trouble. Did extend my wifi to my apartment over the garage now have full signal in garage but slow service…. working on fixing but net gear is telling me that my extender is to far from the base. Seems to be an odd answer for an extender. More info to follow.

Seems to be working well enough. Set up was easy enough using the wps button. I found the Nighthawk app to be difficult to use. It seems to be more reliable on the 5ghtz band but that might just related to my set up. On the 2.4 band I often get a “not connected to the internet”message or whatever I am doing on my phone just won’t load.

This extender works really well with my router from spectrum. Having the dual speeds is cool cause in case I don’t get the 5G, I could always jump on the 2G, if I need to. The 5G is super fast. The extender feels like my router is on the same floor.
