With enhanced 802.11ac Wi-Fi technology, the EX7300 AC2200 Nighthawk Wi-Fi Range Extender from NETGEAR supports wireless data transfer rates of up to 2200 Mbps. In addition to 802.11ac technology, this range extender also supports 802.11a/b/g/n networking standards so you can connect nearly any Wi-Fi enabled device to the network. With dual band functionality, you can allocate tasks such as email and web browsing to the 2.4 GHz frequency leaving the less congested 5 GHz frequency for more bandwidth intensive jobs such as streaming multimedia content, gaming, and more. The EX7300 features an internal antenna array and high power amplifiers for maximum wireless coverage as well as a single Gigabit Ethernet port for a range of network connection options.

The EX7300v2 came out as an amazing product, but over time is far surpassed by the new Nighthawk extender. Does a great job, but has the tendency to lose connection to the router and need to be reset.

I added this mesh extender to my network. I went from a 15 Mbps connection to over 200 Mbps in the same room. I would definitely recommend this product. I use the same SSID and password and connect seamlessly throughout my home.

Overall I am pretty happy. Signal strength is much better in parts of house distant from the router. However I get regular short losses of signal while everything shows as good on the Netgear unit. These are maybe 10 seconds in length and occur on and off through the day. Not sure why this happens but that is my only complaint.

This wifi extender beats them all. I tried two others and they just did not provide adequate instructions. I just could not follow the instructions to install them correctly. But I had no problem following the NET GEAR AC2200 instructions! I have found I am not an idiot after all. Great power; great coverage; great improvement in capability and speed. Yahoo!

This is the best extender that I have ever bought and used. Some of my devices at home were only getting 50-60% signal strength from my router. In gaming, it caused a lot of lagging. After installing the extender, every device boosted up to 100% signal strength. No more lag. It also has an option where you can switch it from an extender to an access point. I give this device 2 thumbs up.

We have a large 2 story home, Cox Communications Gateway modem fell short of 50% of it, added a Cox expensive extender and sketchy at best, so 1/4 of the house, no WiFi. Then it stopped working after 3 months, Cox said it had a 30 day warranty… that is not a warranty, it is a failure guarantee. So purchased the NETGEAR AC2200 Extender, plugged it in and the entire house is flooded with WiFi as is the back yard too. The setup instructions were lacking, but the lady at technical services had it up and running in 5 minutes. Great service and a 1 year warranty! 4 very happy internet users in Arizona.
