With enhanced 802.11ac Wi-Fi technology, the EX7300 AC2200 Nighthawk Wi-Fi Range Extender from NETGEAR supports wireless data transfer rates of up to 2200 Mbps. In addition to 802.11ac technology, this range extender also supports 802.11a/b/g/n networking standards so you can connect nearly any Wi-Fi enabled device to the network. With dual band functionality, you can allocate tasks such as email and web browsing to the 2.4 GHz frequency leaving the less congested 5 GHz frequency for more bandwidth intensive jobs such as streaming multimedia content, gaming, and more. The EX7300 features an internal antenna array and high power amplifiers for maximum wireless coverage as well as a single Gigabit Ethernet port for a range of network connection options.

I bought this to improve streaming video downstairs at home (router is upstairs). It works well and I can definitely tell a positive difference. Setup was not perfect but acceptable. It wouldn’t pair with my router via WPS button but I got the “Nighthawk” app and that worked well. Also, it only came with a quick start guide; I searched online and found a PDF of the in depth manual. Would have been good for the quick guide to mention that (if it did, I missed it).

Absolutely easy setup and it performs great! Love the Ethernet plug as well. I actually put in room with poor signal, not recommended they say, but my download speed went from 3 to 18. No more buffering on my TV which is plugged into Ethernet. Just get it because it works!!!

I have a large house and, for some strange reason, the modem is on ONE SIDE of the house with my room wayyyy on the other side! Needless to say, the signal was either weak or would switch to LTE…AFTER i purchased the extender, I noW have an EXCELLENT CONNECTION!!! Thanks Netgear!!!

Installed about a week ago. My son has far less lagging on his Xbox, so he’s a lot more bearable. Hahaha. We’re running 6-8 devices at a time with our Roku TVs as well and haven’t had any WiFi drop issues either. I recommend this extender for sure

I am using Netgear r8000 router with the EX7300 WiFi Range Extender and a Linksys RE6700 dual band extender after upgrading my home network setup with new modem (from Spectrum-200mb internet). My house is large 4,995 sq ft with several WiFi dead zones. Solved the problem with relatively little loss in signal quality and speed. However, it is a little more difficult to setup than my old Linksys network set (but I used Linksys equipment for more then 15 years). Would I recommend Netgear, yes. I also looked at Linksys and Asus equipment and decided on Netgear. No regrets.
