Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

I like the security, but doesnt really say why something happened, if something is “blocked” why??? I had multiple attacks and counting on a NAS storage but didnt say what, I want to improve my security not stand by and go “okay something is happening” let me take action not leave me in the dark, shame on you NETGEAR!.

I never realized how slow my router from my ISP was until I switched to the Netgear Nighthawk mesh router. Much faster upload/download speeds, no more dead spots around the house and best of all, no more screaming kids when they can not connect to the internet. Definitely worth its weight in gold.

This was a straightforward product to install until it came to the satellite. One came up easily but the second one is defective. could not get it to sync even five feet away. used the reset button several times and finally synced. after one day of use the amber/red light flashes and cannot get to connect. Support is not easy using chat .
