Upgrade your home to reliable, high-speed 802.11ax Wi-Fi using the Nighthawk MK62 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi System from Netgear and have the freedom to smoothly stream 4K video, play games, and operate smart home devices from almost anywhere. This kit includes a compact router and a satellite that each use four internal antennas to wirelessly transfer data at up to 1.8 Gb/s across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands without having to set up multiple network names and passwords. The system provides wireless coverage for homes up to 3000 square feet, and additional satellites may be added separately to expand your home’s Wi-Fi coverage and eliminate dead zones. Both the router and satellite are backward compatible with previous Wi-Fi standards such as 802.11ac and each include a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting wired devices such as smart TVs and video game consoles. Two Ethernet cables are included to get you started. You can configure and monitor the router and its satellite using the downloadable Nighthawk mobile app.

I had been using an xfinity router with a range extender, but I was suffering a great deal of latency in my wireless connectivity. This in no small part to xfinity removing the capability to manage channels. I disabled the wireless component on the modem and connected the Nighthawk with a single satellite. The result was awesome, because the latency was gone and the signal strength was greatly improved. The app is extremely useful and easy to use. I’m thrilled with the change and highly recommend the Nighthawk mesh system!

The only problem I had was using your instructions on how to set up the router which was all wrong . You need to reevaluate you instructions very confusing you almost got it back because I because frustrated and had to figure it out for myself.

So far we are impressed. The speeds are very fast (700 MPs) and the satellites are able to cover our entire house. Old system only getting 20-70mps. Wish I had purchased sooner.

I’m on number 2 system and it’s doing the same thing as the first one did. When it works it’s great, but it aways is lossing it’s conecton. Light turns red and I have to go through the setup process like ten time before I can get it working again. It’s very sad that it takes me over a hour of fighting with it to get it working again. For what it cost, it should work better then this!!!!! I can’t see my self buy anymore of there products in the future. They really need to fix this issue for everyone who has spent a good amount of money for here product, Company’s should stand behind there products!!!!!!

More importantly, once the first setup is done my home internet is up and running without any problem. Now my wifi network is very fast at all the corners of my home. I am 100% satisfied!!

Great way to extend WiFi coverage at a great price… works just as advertised. I have hard plaster walls in home and this system gives me WiFi feom one end to the other and my wireless Ring security cams all around the outside as well..
